The Discount Section is where you configure the details of your discount rules. This section ensures your discounts are applied precisely as intended.
It includes options to filter products, set usage limits, specify validity dates, and label your discounts for easy identification.
Tabs and Features:
1. Filter Products:
This feature lets you define whether your discount applies to all products in your store or only a selected few.
All Products: Use this option to apply the discount on all the products of your store. This is ideal for storewide promotions or general sales campaigns.
Example: A storewide Black Friday discount of 20% off every product in your store. Simply select All Products, and the discount will apply automatically to all items in your store.
Few Products: Choose this option to limit the discount to specific products. It provides a targeted approach for promotions on select items or collections.
Example: If you’re running a promotion on your winter collection only, you can select Few Products and choose specific items like “Women Winter Jackets” or “Wool Scarves.” Only these products will have the discount applied.
2. User Limit :
This feature will allow you to set a maximum number of users who can claim the discount. It’s useful for creating exclusive offers or limiting redemption for special campaigns.
For Instance, Let’s say you’re launching a limited-time offer for the first 50 customers to get 10% off their purchases. You can set the User Limit to 50, ensuring only the first 50 users can redeem the discount.
3. Valid Between:
Define the exact duration for the discount. You can specify a start and end date, along with specific times for activation.
Such as:
You’re running a New Year holiday sale from January 1st at 12:00 AM to January 31st at 11:59 PM. Use the Valid Between fields to set this time frame and your customers will get the discount for the month of January. Once the promotion ends, the discount will automatically deactivate without requiring manual intervention.
4. Discount Label:
The label serves as an identifier for your discount and helps you organize and track multiple promotions.
For example, if you’re running a Valentine’s Day promotion with a 15% discount on all red-colored items, you can set the Discount Label to “Valentine’s Day Red Sale.” This allows for easier tracking and analysis when you review your discounts later.
