It involves offering customers free delivery or shipment on their orders, usually as part of a promotional offer or when specific conditions are met.
Now, the Disco – WooCommerce dynamic discount plugin makes it really easy to set up free shipping.
For example, let’s learn how to offer free shipping when customers place orders worth $500 or more.
But first, make sure that you have the Disco plugin installed and activated.
Setting up Free Shipping in WooCommerce using Disco
Click on the Disco menu from the left side of the WordPress Panel and select “Create a Discount”.
Then, give your discount campaign a name and select the discount intention as “Free Shipping”.
Then in the discount section, select “All Products” as we will be applying it to every product in the store.
Nonetheless, you can target specific products as well. All you have to do is go to “Few products”, then search and select your products.
Now, after selecting all products, you can add a date validity for your campaign. As you can see down below, we have targeted from 1st January 2025 to 31st January 2025 in the “Valid Between” field.
You can use this to target different occasions or festivals too.
Then comes the condition section. To add any type of user conditions you have to click on “Add Condition” first.
Next, you can enhance your discounts by adding various conditions based on factors like price, ID, title, and more.
From the condition filters, you should select “Cart subtotal.”
Then, choose the “Greater than or Equal” option and input your value. We have added the number 500. So, it means that the customers have to purchase at least a total of $500 to get free shopping.
In the last step, click on “Save & Exit” to launch and run your discount campaign.
You will find your discount campaign in the Disco Menu.
Now, whenever someone orders $500 worth of products, he will get free shipping.
As you can see, when a customer orders a laptop, a laptop bag, and a water bottle for $518, he or she gets the free shipping offer.
